A charity site built on trust
Rahat Foundation delivers food, clean water, healthcare and education across District Swabi, Pakistan — as the on-the-ground partner of Canada's Truman Foundation. We built a website that carries the care of their work into every detail: how it shows the people it serves, and how it handles a single dollar.

EXIF + GPS stripped
Figures describe the website we built. This is a brand-new site — we report on the work delivered, not projected traffic, and the charity's own impact statistics are not represented here.
A charity is trusted, or it is nothing
A donor gives on faith. So the site had to feel credible on first glance — and it came with two non-negotiable rules that most "charity template" sites get wrong.
No money — or data — could be taken on the site
Donations had to route to the registered Canadian partner so givers get a proper tax receipt. That meant zero payment fields, and zero forms of any kind.
Photos of vulnerable families needed real care
Real field photography builds trust — but only if it's handled responsibly, without exposing identities or locations.
It had to look like itself
Related to its Canadian partner, but not a copy of it — a design with its own cultural voice.
Credibility had to be legible at a glance
Registrations and recognitions matter to donors — but only if they're easy to find and easy to read.
Built to earn a donor's trust
A fast, hand-built static site with a voice of its own — and safeguards designed in, not bolted on.
A design of its own
Warm ivory paper, a jali star motif, arched image frames and decorative Urdu accents — a look that belongs to Rahat, distinct from its Canadian partner.
Privacy-first photography
Every real photo had its EXIF and GPS data stripped and sponsor names blurred; ID cards, beneficiary portraits and vulnerable close-ups were deliberately left out.
Nothing captured on-site
No forms, inputs or payment fields anywhere. Every "give" button routes to the Canadian partner's secure, tax-receipting donation page.
A programs hub
Nine programs, each with its own anchor and a prompt to name that program in the donation note — connecting a gift to its cause.
Credibility, made legible
Charity registrations and government appreciation awards presented clearly, so a first-time donor can verify who they're trusting.
Fast, and live
A lightweight static build with tasteful, reduced-motion-safe animation — deployed and live over SSL.
Every page pulls its weight
From the programs hub to the partnership story to the registrations on the about page — each screen is designed to answer a donor's next question and move them one honest step closer to giving.
- A programs page that explains the nine areas of work
- A partnership page telling the Canada–Pakistan story
- Registrations and awards on the about page
- A mobile experience that stays fast and clear
Trust is a design decision
Donations handled correctly
Because tax-receipting sits with the Canadian partner, the site takes no money and stores no donor data — every gift is routed to the right, registered place.
Dignity in every photo
Location metadata removed, identities protected, sensitive images excluded — the people served are shown with respect, not exposed.
Proof a donor can check
Registrations and official appreciations are shown plainly — the difference between "trust us" and "here's why you can."
What we can prove today
This is a new site. Rather than quote projected traffic, here is what has actually been built and verified — with the safeguards that matter most to a charity confirmed in place.
